Additional optional insurance for study abroad
AFS has arranged for you to secure two kinds of optional travel insurance – 3rd Party Liability Insurance and Baggage Insurance – directly from an insurance company. These benefits are not part of the AFS participant medical or supplement travel benefit program, but you may sign up at any time up until departure. Please note that you CANNOT buy this insurance once your AFS program has begun.
We also encourage you to seek other providers of these types of insurance coverage for your trip.
